About Lynn Wiese Sneyd
As owner of LWS Literary Services, Lynn Wiese Sneyd coordinates national, regional and local publicity campaigns for authors of non-fiction and fiction books. In addition, she specializes in writing query letters and book proposals.
She has scheduled appearances and interviews with many national television, radio and print media outlets including ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and PBS affiliates, Sirius Satellite, syndicated AM and FM radio shows, Prevention Magazine, Women’s Day Magazine, Dallas Morning News, and Arizona Daily Star. Lynn works exclusively with authors to promote their book and also collaborate with publishers, as she has done with Tarcher/Penguin, Prometheus Books, HCI Communications, Carolina Academic Press and Paradigm Publishers.
Lynn is a frequent presenter at writers’ conferences and workshops. The Oklahoma Writers Federation Inc, Society of Southwestern Authors, Sisters in Crime, Arizona Book Publishing Association, Tucson Festival of Books and Southern California Writers Association are some of the groups to which Lynn has presented. In addition, she has organized and hosted day-long workshops for writers in southern Arizona.
Prior to starting LWS Literary Services, Lynn served as the literary publicist for Russell Public Communications. She also worked as a community relations manager for Barnes & Noble Booksellers, where she scheduled and hosted author events, sponsored book groups and workshops, and initiated partnerships with community organizations to promote literacy and support the arts.
Lynn is the author of Holistic Parenting: Raising Children to a New Physical, Emotional and Spiritual Well-Being (Keats Publishing, a division of McGraw-Hill, 2000) and the co-author of How Happy Families Happen (Hazelden Publishing, 2006) and Healthy Solutions: A Guide to Simple Healing and Healthy Wisdom (Basic Health Publications, 2006), which received the 2007 Arizona Book Award for best health/nutrition/wellness book. Lynn’s articles, essays and poetry have appeared in various publications around the country. In 1998, she received a fellowship from the Ragdale Foundation, a writer’s colony in Lake Forest, IL.
Lynn earned a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She and her family currently reside in Tucson, AZ
